Black Artists Matter (BAM Club L.A.) is a 501(c)(7) non-profit social club. The headquarters of Black Artists Matter News & Social Club is in South Los Angeles. We are independent artists, writers, and performers, organized for pleasure, recreation, and other non-profitable purposes. We meet up to socialize and network at events like film screenings, plays, and private parties. We are self-supported by club members' dues, fees, donations, as well as events sponsored by BAM Club Los Angeles.
When you join our club, we provide an established membership of individuals, commingling and fellowshipping for social, recreational, and similar purposes. We also attend events hosted and/or promoted by our members.
The money we raise through membership fees and sponsored events is spent on non-profit projects, like marketing our health classes, promoting our social events, as well as, creating and distributing our newsletter. Our current goal is to raise enough funds to purchase a property to conduct our meet-ups and sponsored events.
If you like, a portion of your membership dues can go toward purchasing our very own club house, wherein you can be a "TENANTS-IN-COMMON" investor. That means your name will be on the title to the property that we will have purchased together, to be used exclusively for our members, their guests, and family. Stay tuned for our real estate investors workshop coming soon.
